01Lawful requester and vehicle authority
The requester must accurately identify themselves and have lawful authority to request the work, release relevant information, authorize access, choose the destination, and approve material changes. A request may be declined or paused when ownership, custody, driver permission, property access, destination acceptance, or another authority question cannot be reasonably confirmed.
02Accurate vehicle and scene details
Provide the exact location, travel direction, exit or landmark, year, make, model, configuration, keys, power state, wheel and tire condition, drivetrain when known, collision or mechanical damage, leaks, modifications, cargo, clearance, surface, gate, traffic exposure, requested service, and safe callback. A material difference can change method, equipment, price, timing, or whether work can proceed.
03Emergency and scene control
Call 911 first for injury, fire, smoke, hazardous material, exposed high-voltage components, immediate danger, or a vehicle blocking active traffic. Police, fire, roadway, property, airport, garage, venue, security, manufacturer, and receiving-location instructions may control the scene. Tommy's does not replace those authorities.
04Live assignment confirmation
Dispatch should state whether the request is still an inquiry, requires more information, has been declined, or has become an assignment. An estimated arrival window, responding provider, equipment plan, pickup, destination, and callback procedure should be confirmed through the live channel; automated website confirmation is not available.
05Estimate and changed conditions
Towing starts at $125; mileage and other disclosed charges may apply. The unresolved mileage formula is not supplied by the website. Vehicle condition, distance, access, recovery, loading, waiting, tolls, storage, destination, equipment, labor, and changed facts can affect the estimate. A material nonemergency change should be explained and approved before additional work when reasonably possible.
06Destination, custody, and records
The requester should confirm that the destination can receive the vehicle and identify access, hours, keys, contact, payment, and release requirements. Dispatch, authorization, estimate, condition, photograph, invoice, payment, cancellation, custody, release, and communication records may be retained for the job, account, dispute, insurance matter, or legal obligation under the applicable privacy notice.
