Limited production analytics without advertising personalization

Cookie and Analytics Notice

Call live Kansas City dispatch at 816-588-8888 for current availability.

Read before relying on a digital request or policy summary.

Tommy's Road Rescue uses Google Analytics 4 on the production tommysroadrescue.com website to understand visits and selected customer-intent actions. The implementation does not enable advertising personalization or Google Signals, does not run on development or preview hostnames, and is designed not to send tow-request contents or other personal information to Analytics. Google, the hosting provider, and network providers may still process cookies or similar identifiers, ordinary technical requests, logs, security signals, and delivery data under their own systems and terms.

Policy terms and decision points

01

Current first-party website behavior

The site displays public pages, uses links and telephone or email actions, and prepares certain email drafts on the user's device. Google Analytics 4 measures page views, traffic sources, general device and browser information, approximate geographic reporting, and selected telephone, email, request-help, service-area, and email-draft interactions. The site does not provide account login, advertising personalization, a saved cart, website payment, browser geolocation, or photo upload in this release.

02

Essential delivery and security information

A browser, network, hosting provider, content-delivery system, or security service may process an IP address, device or browser information, request time, requested page, referrer, response, error, and security signal to deliver, troubleshoot, secure, and operate the site. Tommy's should not describe provider-controlled technical processing as a marketing profile or promise that no infrastructure log exists.

03

Coverage checker and request forms

The coverage checker compares the city text entered with a published list and does not intentionally retain or send the entered text to Google Analytics. Request, commercial, career-interest, and feedback forms prepare an email draft. Analytics may record that a form interaction opened an email draft, but it does not receive the draft contents and does not treat that action as a sent message, confirmed lead, dispatch assignment, or completed service.

04

External links and user-controlled applications

Government, manufacturer, map, email, telephone, social, browser, and other linked services operate independently and may use their own cookies, logs, analytics, accounts, privacy settings, and terms after the user leaves this site or opens an application. Tommy's does not control those third-party systems merely by linking to them.

05

Browser choices and tracking signals

Customers may use browser settings to block or delete cookies, limit permissions, clear history, use private browsing, or manage tracking preferences. Those settings can affect other sites and do not erase records already sent by email or retained for an actual request, job, account, dispute, insurance matter, safety issue, or legal duty.

06

Controls before future advertising or expanded measurement

Before adding advertising, remarketing, session replay, dynamic call tracking, form-content capture, or another measurement vendor, Tommy's should verify the data flow, define the purpose and legal basis, minimize data, set retention and access, update this notice, provide any required consent or choice, protect sensitive request information, and test that the published description matches the deployed technology.

Company controls

  • Keep advertising personalization, remarketing, session replay, cross-site profiling, and unsupported audience claims off the website until the deployed technology and public notice are verified together.
  • Do not treat a phone click, email draft, coverage-checker entry, form field, external-link visit, or browser permission as marketing consent or a confirmed dispatch record.
  • Separate provider-controlled delivery and security logs from Tommy's own intentional analytics, advertising, or customer-profile systems.
  • Review new scripts, embeds, vendors, links, and hosted features for cookies, identifiers, pixels, browser storage, data recipients, sensitive fields, and retention before release.
  • Update the privacy and cookie notices before materially different tracking begins and provide a real, usable choice when required for the actual technology and jurisdiction.
  • Avoid sending tow-request details, precise locations, vehicle identifiers, payment information, or other sensitive data into analytics or advertising systems without a verified necessary and lawful purpose.

Important limits

  • This notice does not promise that a browser, network, hosting provider, security service, email client, telephone carrier, or external website creates no technical log or cookie.
  • It does not activate an advertising preference center, customer account, saved request, or universal opt-out mechanism.
  • Blocking cookies does not necessarily prevent pixels, fingerprinting, network logs, or tracking by another service, and private browsing does not make a user invisible to websites or networks.
  • The required notice, consent, opt-out, retention, and signal handling can depend on the actual technology, data, purpose, audience, vendor, jurisdiction, and current law.

Questions drivers ask

Does this website currently use Google Analytics or advertising pixels?

It uses Google Analytics 4 for limited production-site measurement. Advertising personalization, Google Signals, remarketing, session replay, and advertising pixels are not enabled through this implementation.

Does the coverage checker save my address in a cookie?

No. It compares the city text with a published list and does not intentionally retain the address or create a customer profile. Do not use it as proof of coverage, dispatch, or assignment.

What happens when I follow an external link?

The destination service controls its own cookies, logs, analytics, account, privacy settings, and terms. Review that service's notice and browser permissions before providing information.

Will this notice change if measurement expands?

It should. Tommy's should verify any new vendor or data flow, update the notice, set access and retention, protect sensitive fields, and implement any required consent or choice before expanded tracking begins.
