01Address urgent safety or custody issues first
Call 911 for immediate danger, injury, threats, fire, hazardous material, or a crime in progress. Contact the controlling police agency, property representative, storage facility, insurer, or vehicle custodian when that party—not Tommy's—controls the vehicle or scene.
02Gather the job record
Collect the service date and time, vehicle, pickup and destination, requester, dispatch number, receipt or invoice, payment proof, estimate, authorization, operator or truck information when known, photos, and relevant messages.
03Describe the concern precisely
State what you expected, what occurred, when you noticed the problem, who was present, what was said or documented, and which amount, condition, communication, delay, or action you dispute. Avoid publishing keys, addresses, card data, signatures, or identity documents online.
04Request a specific resolution
Explain whether you seek a corrected record, itemized explanation, document copy, charge review, insurer document, damage review, contact from management, or another concrete outcome. A request is not a promise that the result will be granted.
05Contact Tommy's and preserve confirmation
Call 816-588-8888 or use the published contact email for a non-emergency written record. Ask for confirmation that the complaint was received and where supporting copies should be sent. Keep originals and note the date, time, and contact person.
06Escalate through the responsible channel
If direct review does not resolve the issue, use the channel that actually has jurisdiction: the payment-card issuer, insurer or state insurance department, Kansas City tow-rights process, Missouri or Kansas consumer-protection office, law enforcement, or private counsel as appropriate.
