I-435 circles the Kansas City metro through Missouri and Kansas, crosses major rivers, and meets nearly every major regional freeway. Saying only “I am on 435” can leave dispatch with many miles and two states to search. Start with immediate safety, then identify the state, direction, nearest signed interchange, roadway level, and exact vehicle position.
